JSTOR is a very powerful database with articles, books and primary sources. You can use the advanced search feature to focus even more. Sometimes it is useful to only see articles from a certain time period, sometimes you only want to see a certain kind of text, like books or a research report. Advanced search can help with this!


In Context Databases

In Context databases are great for refining your search. From the start page, use the search bar, once you have some results, try the topic finder at the bottom of the right side navigation bar.

 Google Scholar is a good place to examine the research. You may need to go to our databases to download the article. Remember that you can use the "cited by" and the "related articles" link to see other articles that are similar.
