In Context databases are great for refining your search. From the start page, use the search bar, once you have some results, try the topic finder at the bottom of the right side navigation bar.

Using the box, click the articles tab and add your search term. Within the results, you can narrow your search to "peer reviewed" or "academic journals" using the tabs in the left side bar menu.


JSTOR is a very powerful database with articles, books and primary sources. You can use the advanced search feature to focus even more. Sometimes it is useful to only see articles from a certain time period, sometimes you only want to see a certain kind of text, like books or a research report. Advanced search can help with this!
